There are three categories of special
students:
Special students are students who
have not completed all formal admission requirements. They are admitted
on a one-year probationary period. During the one-year of probationary
status, they must establish good academic standing. Their record
will be reviewed each trimester. They may be subject to dismissal
or relegation to a lower programme if they are unable to establish
good academic standing after 12 credit hours of work. They may be
eligible for regular admission following the successful completion
of 24 credit hours of study.
Special students are students who
do not intend to complete any programmes with TCA College. However they
must matriculate after completing 12 credit hours of study.
Special students are students who
are full-time pastors or workers in a local church or organization
or holding a part-time vocation enrolled in more than three courses
a trimester. These students are not required to fulfill the requirements
of a full-time student in areas of attending chapels (unless they
are in class that day), compulsory study hours and school activities.
However, the school reserves the right to require the student to
attend particular school events or activities. Permission must be
secured through the Academic Dean or Dean of Students for the granting
of this status.
