What is the difference between full-time and part-time at TCA College?

Part-time students in School of Theology and School of Counseling can take two courses a term.

Full-time student are allowed to take up to four courses a term. They are also required to participate in weekly small group meetings and College activities.

Does TCA College offer financial aid?

Application for financial aid is open to new students from Asian countries outside Singapore, seeking admission into the BTh, MA and MDiv programs. Refer to Financial Aid for more information.

Can I receive credit from previous biblical or ministry studies?

Only programs similar to those offered at TCA College from an accredited theological school will be considered.

The approval for transfer of credits is subject to the assessment of educational transcripts from such institutions and the rest of the items required for application.

Online courses do not require students to attend classes at our physical campus. Learning takes place through our learning management system called TCALearn.

Online courses offer the same academic rigor and practical equipping as our face-to-face programs. Students taking online courses will have to complete weekly learning activities while actively participating in an online community. The online delivery provides greater flexibility for students to manage their schedules and equip themselves while remaining engaged in their work or ministry. Academic credits earned through online programs are readily accepted into other TCA programs of the same school.

Will the school help me to purchase textbooks?

Students are responsible for purchasing their own textbooks. You will need to get your textbooks before the course begins.

Must I purchase the textbooks? Will I be able to borrow them from the library?

Students must purchase all textbooks for their courses. Lessons closely follow the textbook content and readings will be assigned from them. Library copies are kept as course reserve and will not be available for extended loan.
