Dr Richard Phua worships at Orchard Road Presbyterian Church and is a member there since 1994. He completed his PhD at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, in 2002 and the thesis was subsequently published by T&T Clark in November 2005 under the title Idolatry and Authority: A Study of 1 Corinthians 8.1-11.1 in the Light of the Jewish Diaspora. Dr Phua will teach New Testament in the Chinese department at TCA College.
