International Night
19 Oct 07

We had a fun-filled night on Friday, 19 Oct 07. The International Night was held at the Summit (4th level, Community Hub) at 6pm. Food was in abundance and a great variety and some students even contributed their home-made delicacies from various countries through which we shared our cultures and tastes.

The different small groups also featured the cultures of China, Indo-china, Indonesia and Korea through creative skits and songs. Different ones put on their national costumes which spiced up the cultural night where we appreciate God’s creation of the different people groups. We may be many; we may be of different colours, speaking different languages and having different practices, yet we are one. We thank God for diversity. And we celebrate the unity in such colourful diversity. We embody what Paul says of the New Creation with the coming of Christ in Galatians 3:28, “There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male or female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.” Thank you Jesus!
