Dr Chen Lu has joined us as Associate Professor from 1 March 2008.

Many of us know that getting a PhD involves much tears, sweat and blood. Dr Chen is one of the rare geniuses who has not just one, but two doctoral degrees! He has a PhD in Mathematics from Wuhan University and a PhD in Theology and Culture from Oxford Centre for Mission Studies/ University of Wales, UK.

Dr Chen was pastoring a church in Beijing and also lectured at the Mathematics Department of Beijing Jiaotong University. He was also a Junior Research Fellow of Oxford Centre for Religion and Public Life in the UK.

He has published papers in mathematics, theology and culture.

Dr Chen will be teaching modules in Theology in TCA College.
