Launch of Two-week Intensive MAOL Class

In June 2007, TCA College’s School of Leadership, in partnership with Azusa Pacific University (APU), began its programme: Master of Arts in Organisational Leadership (MAOL). Azusa Pacific University is one of America's Top 25 Western Universities under the Master’s Classification.

The MAOL programme was launched and a two weeks of intensive classes were conducted at our new Paya Lebar campus, from 25 June to 6 July. This programme offers vital training and insight to leaders in any field, and positions them to impact this rapidly changing world with a Christian worldview.

The lecturers from APU were leading practitioners with academic accomplishments in the area of leadership. They introduced key topics in leadership to the class of part-time students as shown:-

Faculty Leadership Topics
Dr Dave McIntire Leaders as an Agent of Change
Dr Lewis Chau Ethics in a Changing Organisation
Dr Sharyn Slavin-Miller Group and Conflict Issues in Leadership
Dr Jerry Houser Current Issues in Leadership

Students were from diverse backgrounds as they functioned as leaders in church, para-church and secular organisations.

The lecturers not only taught with relevant, up-to-date materials but also imparted their experiences and know-how first-hand to the receptive class.

The next intensive two-week classes will be scheduled in the middle of 2008 and registration for the programme is now open. The entire programme is conferred by APU, a top Christian university, and a 75% scholarship is given to all Asian students.

Come join us in this practical and stimulating programme in Leadership!
