Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling (PDC)
What is the Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling?
The PDC programme is designed to prepare the graduate for the field of professional counselling and/or pastoral counselling. The PDC programme is designed as a one-year course. The curriculum is taught by the resident faculty from the TCA College School of Counselling as well as adjunct faculty, experts in their field of specialty.
How long is the Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling?
• Full-time students will be able to complete the PDC in 1-2 years. Part-time students will be given between 5 years to complete the entire programme.
• Students who successfully complete the requirements of the PDC Programme will be awarded with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling from the University of Wales.

Since its launch in 2007, TCA College School of Counselling has graduated 3 batches of graduates in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

3 Foundation Modules: Foundations of Counselling, Self of the Counsellor, Human Development 3 Theory Modules: Theories and Approaches in Individual Counseling, Theories and Approaches in Marital & Family Therapy, Theories and Approaches in Group Work 2 Professional Modules: Professional Ethics, Appraisal, Tests & Assessments 2 Skills Modules: Core Clinical Skills I, Core Clinical Skills II 1 Practicum Module: 100 hours Practicum with Supervision (20 Credits) |
