Rev Bernard Koh Ming Huat joined us as a faculty member from 15 September 2008. Rev Koh is an Anglican clergyman who has served the Lord for more than twenty years ever since he graduated from the seminary. He was an editor, a broadcaster, and, now he is a pastor, a teacher.
Rev Koh’s main interest is in the Old Testament with a focus on the hermeneutical interpretation of the Scriptures. Besides the biblical area, Rev Koh also has a pastoral passion for China, which makes him, as he puts it, “a student of Chinese studies”.
Rev Koh will be teaching biblical courses, which include Introduction to Old Testament, and preliminary courses in Theology. He will also assume the role of the Director of PhD Programme.
Rev Koh is heavily involved in many areas of ministries, including training pastors in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, preaching engagement in Jakarta, Indonesia, and teaching Sunday School in local churches.
