Relevant Information
Admission
TCA College operates on a trimester system, which revolves on a 13-week schedule. The average academic load for a full-time student is 12 to 15 credit hours per academic trimester. The school year commences from January to mid-April, May to first week in August, and end-August to last week in November.
Transfer Of Credits
TCA College accepts transfer students from other Bible schools. Students desiring to transfer credits from another school are required to submit an official transcript along with the school catalog to the Dean.
Transferred modules having fewer hours than TCA College modules will be given the value at which they are taken. Transferred modules having more hours than TCA College modules will be given the value at which TCA College offers the module.
TCA College reserves the right to accept or reject work completed at another institution. This will be determined after review of the institution’s catalog.
Up to one-third (1/3) of TCA College’s program may consist of transferred credits provided that they were obtained at an institution comparable to the College. Thus, at least two-thirds (2/3) of TCA College’s programs must be taken within the College.

Probation
All students, except those enrolled on one-year programs are on probation for one year. During this first year, a student will need to maintain the following grade point average:
- Diploma program 2.0
- Bachelor program 2.5
- Master program 2.7
Failure to meet this minimum GPA may result in the premature termination of the student’s studies. During the probation period, the Dean may restrict the course load and module selections for weak students. Such students will be restricted in their extra-curricular activities and library study hours will be required of them.
Special Status
There are three categories of special students:
- Special students are students who have not completed all formal admission requirements. They are admitted on a one-year probationary period. During the one-year of probationary status, they must establish good academic standing. Their record will be reviewed each trimester. They may be subject to dismissal or relegation to a lower programme if they are unable to establish good academic standing after 12 credit hours of work. They may be eligible for regular admission following the successful completion of 24 credit hours of study.
- Special students are students who do not intend to complete any programmes with TCA College. However they must matriculate after completing 12 credit hours of study.
- Special students are students who are full-time pastors or workers in a local church or organization or holding a part-time vocation enrolled in more than three courses a trimester. These students are not required to fulfill the requirements of a full-time student in areas of attending chapels (unless they are in class that day), compulsory study hours and school activities. However, the school reserves the right to require the student to attend particular school events or activities. Permission must be secured through the Academic Dean or Dean of Students for the granting of this status.
