School of Theology (English)

Overview

The School of Theology (English) [SOTE] offers a diverse range of programs designed to equip students with both comprehensive theological knowledge and practical ministry skills. These programs prepare students to serve as effective leaders and ministers within the church and broader society, aligning with the College’s distinctives: God-centered, Life Transforming, Spirit-empowered, and Culturally Relevant. Accredited by the Asia Theological Association, SOTE’s programs aim to build a strong theological foundation, empowering students to thoughtfully engage with complex contemporary issues through intellectual rigor, critical thinking, and biblical insight.

At SOTE, students encounter a balanced integration of theoretical learning and hands-on ministry training, cultivating reflective practitioners who serve their communities with integrity and compassion. A distinctive emphasis on the Spirit is woven into every program, encouraging students to embody and articulate the person and work of the Holy Spirit. The Pentecostal character of the curriculum highlights the significance of spiritual gifts, the power of prayer, and Spirit-led ministry.
