Master of Divinity, 2019

Tseng En-Tse (Taiwan)

In 2015, my wife and I came from Taiwan to Singapore to pursue the Master of Divinity program at TCA College. Looking back on those three years of equipping at TCA, we are deeply grateful for God’s amazing provision and grace. As international students, the cost of living and studying posed a significant challenge. Yet, God provided faithfully—through the financial assistance offered by the college, we were able to focus on our studies without the burden of financial worry. We are truly thankful to TCA and to all the brothers and sisters in Christ who generously supported students taking theological studies.

After graduating in 2019, we remained in Singapore to serve at Trinity Christian Centre. Two years later, we returned to Taiwan to serve in various denominations and churches. Currently, I pastor Ou-Wang Presbyterian Church, a small rural church along the coast in Tainan with a small congregation and limited resources. There are only a few children and youth in this church. Ministry here has not been easy. Yet, even in the challenges, we hold tightly to the calling and vision God has given us.

Over the years, we’ve built meaningful partnerships with churches from different denominations. Along the way, I’ve also been discipling and raising up church leaders to share in the pastoral mission. By God’s grace, our children’s Sunday School has grown steadily—from just a handful to nearly 30 children, many of whom come from the local community. We’ve also begun to rebuild our youth ministry and are witnessing God’s hand at work among the next generation.

All of this is by God’s grace, and I also thank TCA for the training I received. Without the foundation laid during my time at TCA, I would not be able to serve and connect across denominational lines today. TCA is an interdenominational seminary. Here, I received sound theological training and spiritual formation. But more importantly, I have learned how to walk and serve alongside brothers and sisters from diverse traditions. Studying and ministering with classmates from various backgrounds expanded my perspective and shaped my Kingdom mindset. These experiences have greatly influenced the way I approach ministry today.

TCA is more than just a seminary—it is a cradle for raising up workers for God’s Kingdom.
